My Daughter's room

I love my daughter's room. It's where I sit and read and the pink walls call to me. I don't even know if Bryn can appreciate as much as I do. We decorate nurseries for ourselves for the most part. I just feel so at peace sitting in there as the afternoon light streams in and the pink walls just calm me. I have tried to hang sentimental items on the wall and place them around the room. One my favorite things is the perfect little sand-dollar that Bryn and my mom found while they were walking in the ocean. Bryn carried it back to the shore and would not let it go. I absolutely adore the sweaters Bryn and I were knitted as babies, little tokens of affection. A friend of the family recently knitted a sweater for Bryn and it's just too dear to me to let her wear it. I just thought that its creamy white color would be slopped full of spaghetti or peanut butter and I would just cry. Instead I've transformed it into a work of wall art, one that I adore.
