Good to the last pearl




I love oysters. My love of oysters has recently been culminated by two things, reading the book by M.F.K Fisher "Consider the Oyster" and our recent move to the Atlantic coast. I love the fact that I can go to the grocery store and pick up a dozen oysters for four dollars. How wonderful and amazing. The last batch of oysters were especially scrumptious. They were salty and plump and quite simply to die for. Matt and I are very particular about how we eat them with our plates of ice and lemon wedges. He makes homemade cocktail sauce and Bryn plays with the shells. He must love me because he gave me his last one and I ate it graciously.
