Oh Shit Day

I think this "Oh Shit" day is best summed up by using bullets:

• 8:30a.m. the baby pees on bathrug as I am waiting for her bath water to fill up.
• 10:00a.m. I find out that my family, who is driving to visit and just spent the night in Kentucky, is now on their way back home because my mom is having health issues. That sets the depressive tone.
• 11:00a.m. DON'T wear a dress to the beach, carry a baby and a latte all at the same time! You will dissapoint yourself and those around you. Actually, you might give some people a thrill;)
• 3:00p.m. I try to put the baby down for a nap. Big mistake. Sometimes it's just better to put in a Baby Einstein video and let them zone out for a while.
• 5:00p.m. I realize there is only 5$ left in our bank account.
